The Philippine Rainforest logoThis interactive exhibit draws attention to the alarming state of our Philippine rainforests. It helps young children understand the concept of rainforests and their importance to human survival. Interwoven in the exhibit is Penny Reyes-Velasco's "Are You the Forest King?", the story of a little boy's search for the true ruler of the forest. Like the little boy in the story, viewers of this exhibit come out of the "forest" with renewed resolve to care for the environment, knowing that all living things play a vital role in the web of life.

Be Smart, Don't Ever Start! logoMuseo Pambata developed thus anti-smoking campaign in cooperation with the Department of Health (DOH) to address the rise in number of smokers and tobacco-related diseases in the country. Featuring 20 nteractive exhibits which are both educational and entertaining, "Be Smart, Don't Ever Start!" (Maging Matalino, Iwasang Manigarilyo!") encourages smokers to quit and discourages non-smokers from taking up the habit by emphasizing the harmful effects of tobacco use to the human body. Museo Pambata believes that with sufficient knowledge, children will be better equipped to make smart choices early in life. In the case of smoking, it's smart not to start!
