Exhibit
Until 19 February 2005
In
celebration of Philippines-Japan Friendship Year, Museo Pambata and the
Embassy of Japan present an Origami Exhibit at the Children in the Global
Village theme room. Visitors at Museo Pambata will have an opportunity
to see the ancient art of origami from the 40 paper masterpieces by children
from various private schools in Manila. Visitors will also get a chance
to attend an Origami Workshop by Mrs. Mizue Vidal, Origami teacher.
The Origami Exhibit is a part of this year's Philippines-Japan Festival
2005, where various events promoting cultural and academic exchanges between
the two nations are organized by Filipino and Japanese groups and individuals.Press
